What is the EAP?
EAP = Employee Assistance Program = „Mitarbeiter-Unterstützungs-Programm“
An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a confidential, short-term counselling service that employers pay for and is free to employees. Counselling services provided by an EAP help employees manage life-stressors of all kinds with the goal to improve the employee’s well-being.
ISTA’s employee assistance program, offered by the EAP-Institut in Vienna, provides access to a network of experts to help with life concerns. A crisis service service is available outside office hours. If you would like assistance with professional, personal or health issues, this counselling service is here for you.

How can I contact the EAP-Institut?

You only need to tell them that you work at ISTA (or that you are a first degree relative of someone working at ISTA). You do not even have to tell them your name, if you do not feel like it. ISTA will NOT be informed that you contacted them.

Who can make use of the EAP?
All ISTA employees and their relatives living in the same household & first degree relatives.
When and how can I contact the EAP-Institut?
The service is available 24/7 – outside office hours only available for crisis situations.
Per issue you are entitled to 5 sessions per year.
Preventive: for support via coaching and consultancy BEFORE overload occurs
In acute cases: when stress is already noticeable
